I then countersunk reinforcement plates for the center rib rivets. This was pretty easy but then I had to countersink the counterweight pipes. I think I dulled my #30 countersinking bit doing this. The challenge was keeping the pipes from rolling and keeping the countersink cage level. I used a block of wood to help stablize everything. Whew. All the drilling is finally done. The last thing that I did today was debur all of the rivet holes on both sets of aileron skeleton components - everything except the inside flanges of the ribs and spars. This will have to wait until another day.
