Brief Description: Countersunk/Riveted Reinf Ring to Rib
Once all of the holes were drilled in the inboard rib for the reinforcement ring, everything was deburred and the rivet holes dimpled. The next step was to countersink the rivet holes in the reinforcement plate. This was done by drilling and clecoing the reinforcement plate to a piece of wood and using the wood as a guide for the countersinking pilot bit. Once the reinforcement plate was countersunk and the edges deburred, I riveted the reinforcement ring and nutplates to the inboard tank rib.
All screw and rivet holes drilled, deburred, and dimpled
