Brief Description: Install Nutplates for Inboard Z Bracket
The inboard most Z bracket does not have nutplates riveted to it like the other brackets do. Instead, the nutplates are riveted to the front spar. I was able to machine countersink most of the rivet holes for these nutplates. However, the holes closest to the spar flanges could not be done with the micro-stop countersink since the tool was too wide. I did these by hand using a countsinking bit in the hand deburring tool. I then riveted the nutplates to the spar using the rivet gun and a very small bucking bar. I didn't want to hit the spar reinforcing plate on the aft side of the spar with the bucking bar so I used the smallest one I had. Once these nutplates were in place I temporarily bolted all of the Z brackets to the spar.
