Brief Description: Rivet Top Main Skins to Rear Spar
I received my 4" no-hole yoke from Avery today and put it to immediate use. I squeezed all of the rivets along the rear spar with the exception of the 5 inboard most rivets. These couldn't be squeezed because of interference with the rivets on the web of the rear spar where the reinforcement plate is. These rivets will have to be carefully set with a special bucking bar but I think I will wait until I remove the wing from the jig and place it upside down in the wing cradle. Should be easier than laying on my back and reaching up to do it. Just a side note, I was amazed at how much the 4" yoke flexed while setting the -3 rivets. I doubt this yoke could be used to set -4 rivets.
