Brief Description: Build Leading Edge Cradle & Cleco
I spent some time today building the leading edge cradle. I used one of the leading edge ribs to trace the pattern onto some particle board and then used the jigsaw to cut out the pattern. The two ends were then glued and nailed to a 2x6. I then put duct tape along the edges that will hold the leading edge and tank skins in place. Once the cradle was built, I placed the leading edge skin in place and then deburred and straightened the ribs. Once this was done I clecoed the ribs to the skin. This took a bit of wrestling to get all of the clecoes in.
