Several years ago I had to cut a hole in our wall in order to move some very large parts into the basement. This allowed a straight shot through the front door and down into the basement without have to make any tight turns to get through the normal door to the basement. At the time, I placed a temporary sheet of plywood on the back side of the wall and a decorative deacons bench on the front side of the wall in the entry way. I had to remove the plywood and take advantage of the hole again today to get the spars and longerons into the basement. I checked each part off the inventory list and carefully moved everything to the crawl space. The only thing that I am worried about is Grandma's small water heater. I hope this never fails. It is only a couple of years old so I think the parts are safe for a couple of years...
