Brief Description: Right Wing Root Fairing Nutplates - Fuel Tank
Heather and Daisy helped me move the left wing from the bench back into the cradle and then to pull the right wing out and onto the bench this morning.
I then used a #8 nutplate jig to drill the rivet holes for the wing root fairing around right fuel tank, countersunk them, and then dimpled for the screws. Once all the prep work was done I used the pneumatic squeezer to install the K1100 nutplates.
I then installed the large stubby nutplate on the fuel tank attach bracket for the right wing.
I think I'm just about ready for Matt to help me install the wings!
