Brief Description: Fuel Primer Components and Skybolt Fasteners
I had called Aerosport Power last week asking about how to fabricate and install a primer system and Bart said he would just send one out to me,,,free of charge!!! I couldn't believe it. At least $200 worth of primer components arrived today as well as page of instructions from Bart on how to install it. Unbelievable customer service! I am so glas I purchased my engine from him. You absolutely know where all my engine work will be done in the future!!!
I had also decided to replace the highly curved hinge joining the top cowl to the firewall with Skybolt camlocs. I couldn't see fighting with those hinge pins through the oil filler access door for the life of my plane. It was a bear fishing those pins through the few times I had to in the basement with help from my wife. I want to be able to install / remove the cowl myself since I'm sure there will be many times ahead when I won't have a helper readily available at the hanger or wherever I might fly to. Anyway, the Skybolt fastener kit arrived today too. Christmas in June!
