Brief Description: Move Primer Valve to Top of Gascolator
The other thing that has been bothering me that I decided to relocate was the primer valve. I had initially mounted this to a bracket on the firewall and used a short piece of 1/4" aluminum tubing off the top of the gascolator to feed into the valve.
I decided to mount the valve directly to the top of the gascolator instead and eliminate this extra section of tubing and fittings. I'll remove the bracket from the firewall tomorrow.
I also decided to switch the main fuel line to come off the outboard side of the gascolator and to plug the inboard side instead of the other way around, mainly because of all the electrical components next to the inboard side of the gascolator - the relays, current limiter, etc.
I'll need to order a couple of new flexible fuel lines for both the primer feed and the main feed. The main feed between the gascolator and the engine driven fuel pump will need two lines since I decided to mount the Dynon fuel flow sensor within this feed line.
