Brief Description:  Intall Forward Elevator Pushrod

I didn't have too much trouble inserting the forward pushrod into the center tunnel. I had heard horror stories about this. Several people had to enlarge the opening in the F706 bulkhead in order to get it in. The trick for me was using the wiring hole in the F706 bulkhead. I was able to insert the pushrod from the back, initially above the F706 bulkhead. With the pushrod in diagonally and with the rod end bearings off, I popped the aft end of the pushrod in the wiring hole, which was close to where it needed to be. With just enough spring in the length of the pushrod and by flexing the flimsy F706 bulkhead web aft just a bit, I was able to pop the pushrod over into the tunnel and through the F706 main hole. Done deal. I then installed the rod end bearings and temporarily bolted the pushrod to the stick mechanism up front and the bellcrank in back.
