Brief Description: Reinstall Flap Motor; Safety Wire Arm
I decided a while ago to purchase a bolt with a drilled head to safety tie the flap motor arm to the flap armature weldment rather than just wrapping the wire under the head of the bolt and squashing it against the clevis according to the plans. I also purchased some 0.040 safety wire to replace the 0.028 wire that I was using previously. So,,,with all my new hardware in hand, I reinstalled the flap motor and safety wired the arm to the lower bolt. It turned out much better. I feel it's safer this way, using the proper bolt and thicker wire. Time to test this baby out!
