Brief Description:  Drill Gretz Pitot Mount Bracket to Wing

I spent today working on the Gretz pitot mount. I cut a short piece of angle and located it one bay outboard of the outboard most access panel and on the outboard rib of that bay. One side of the angle gets riveted to the edge of the rib web and the other to the pitot bracket plate for support. The other edge of the pitot bracket plate gets riveted to the spar. Once I had match drilled the plate to the spar and angle, the plate was unclecoed from the wing and then clecoed to the skin. The holes along the spar were used to align the plate to the skin. All of the mounting holes were drilled in the skin using the plate as the template. I then drilled a hole in the skin in the center of where the pitot mount will go and used the dremel to shape the cutout in the skin to the plate. A little time with the sanding bit followed up with the scotchbrite bit clean up the edges nice. The bracket, angle, and skin were then clecoed back onto the wing so I could drill the angle to the rib.
