Brief Description: Cleco and Drill Flap Ribs to Spars
I then clecoed the flap ribs to the spars and then the skins to the skeletons and match drilled the skeleton components. The plans indicated that if there are any gaps between the trailing edge of the ribs and the 'rear spar' that shims should be fabricated to close the gap. I started making several of these shims from a couple of different thicknesses of scrap aluminum.
