Brief Description: Finish Countersinking Top Spar;Tank Time
I was able to finish countersinking the last few holes in the top flange of the main spar tonight. I'm glad that is done!! I am enjoying working on my right wing - I can kind of pick and choose what I want to do next and not necessarily follow the cookbook in the manual since I've been there, done that with the left wing. I decided to start working on the fuel tank again. I ended up taking the tank apart and drilling the top skin along the baffle to a piece of particle board. This should make it relatively easy to countersink the holes for the baffle - the wood will be the jig for the pilot of the countersink bit rather than my little countersinking jig plate. The wood will also serve as a support for drilling the #19 holes for the screws that will be used to secure the tank to the spar.
