Brief Description: Drill Nutplate Holes in W423 Joint Plate
There were several rather deep scratches in the W-423 joint plate from initially sliding the plate into position between the skin and the ribs. I used the scotchbrite wheel and a scotchbrite pad to buff these out before drilling and deburring everything. I used the #8 nutplate jig to drill all of the rivet holes for the nutplates that will be used to secure the fuel tank to the leading edge. Worked great!
