Brief Description:  Rivet Rear Spar to Main Ribs

I clecoed the rear spar to the main ribs and then drilled the bottom-most / aft-most rivet hole in each rib to the rear spar. This needed to be done and the holes deburred in order to dimple these hole before riveting the rear spar to the ribs. I used the pneumatic squeezer to dimple these holes in both the ribs and the rear spar. Once this was done, I clecoed the rear spar to the ribs again and used the pneumatic squeezer to rivet it in place. I studied the drawings first to make sure I would be using the correct rivets and discovered there was one hole per rib that needed to be left open on the rear spar. These final holes need to be riveted in assembly with a couple of the aileron and flap components. I went back to the left wing to see if I had left these holes open. Nope. Bummer. At least the bottom skins have not been riveted on so it won't be too bad drilling these rivets out for the left wing. It would have been very difficult if the bottom skins were riveted on since the manufactured heads are on the forward face of the rear spar / rib assembly.
