Stevie and I spent about an hour clecoing the main ribs to the front spar and securing the assembly to the workbench for riveting. I used 4 come-a-long straps which worked out very well. I also used a bunch of duct tape along the main spar and around the bucking bar that Grandpa would be using later. Once Grandpa arrived it only took us 2 hours to rivet all of the main ribs to the front spar. This included drilling out 3 rivets that Grandpa had allowed the bucking bar edge to tilt and place ridges on the various shop heads. It was a great morning. I later took Grandpa out to a late lunch for helping me out. I felt bad because his hands were shaking after we were done from all the effort he had exerted holding and putting pressure on the bucking bar. Everything turned out very nice!
