Brief Description: Drill Access Ring in Inboard Tank Rib
I drew two sets of two secant lines through the pressed circle on the inboard tank rib. Then I used a compass with the point on each intersection of the secant lines and circle. Two straight lines were then drawn to connect the compass lines. The intersection of these two lines is the exact center of the circle. Once the center was found, I clamped the rib to the drill press table and used a fly cutter to cut the access hole. Once the access hole was drilled, I clecoed the reinforcement ring in place and used it as a guide to drill the holes for the screws and nutplates.
