Brief Description: Fabricate T-405 Tank Attach Angle
I spent some time with my trusty hack-saw fabricating the T-405 attach angle. This will be riveted to the inboard rib at the leading edge and will attach the fuel tank to the fuselage. After rough-cutting the angle I sanded down the edges to their final shapes on the 5" disk / 1" belt sander and then polished the edges on the scotchbrite wheel. Once this was done, I clamped and drilled this piece to the inboard rib with the reinforcement plate directly behind it on the other side of the rib. I also drilled the other reinforcement plate to the inside of the outboard rib.
