Van's makes it soooo easy now, even the stiffeners are prepunched! I just needed to snip the stiffeners apart at the appropriate places. Van's had drilled relief holes where each stiffener needed to be cut from the longer angle. I did this in front of the television in the living room tonight which was probably not a great idea. I ended up cutting one of the stiffeners exactly backwards. It was the mirror image of what it should have been. It was easy to fabricate a new one from some extra angle that I had from my old, never finished, RV-6A Empennage kit.
