Brief Description: Switch GMA-340 Power from E-Buss to Main Buss
One good thing that came out of the problem I had receiving on the SL40 is that I learned the audio panel has a fail-safe that allows communication on Comm 1 if the audio panel ever loses power. This means I can pull the power for the audio panel from the main buss rather than the E-buss. So,,,today I re-routed the GMA-340 power from the E-buss to the main buss. This will help keep the loads on the E-buss to a minimum should I ever lose the alternator and therefore everything on the main buss and allow me to run off the battery until I can get back to an airport.
