Brief Description: Install P14 2 AWG to Starter and Contactor
Next I installed the two oil cooler hoses to their corresponding engine fittings. The other end of these lines will stay capped until I get the baffles done and can mount the oil cooler.
My final task for today was to run the P14 2 AWG wire from the starter solenoid to the starter contactor. This wire isn't very flexible but so far Van's has done a great job with their firewall forward kit. All hoses and wires I've installed so far have been the perfect length. The P14 was no exception. I had to bend the ring connectors on both ends a bit in order to bolt them to the contactor and solenoid and relieve the pressure on the wire and connectors.
I still need to secure this wire with Adel clamps but I'll save that for tomorrow.
