Flox is definitely not very easy to sand! I had to use a dremel sanding drum to sand down the heavier areas. I probably could have used mico instead of flox to fill in the gaps along the tips but I will be glassing over the joints and read somewhere that you should never use micro under glass. But since these gaps are small and since the glass isn't structural, micro would have been fine. Live and learn.
