Brief Description: Cut Holes for Trim Indicators, ELT and Ignition Sw
The rest of today was spent working on the panel. I decided to place the trim indicators and ELT switch in the upper portion of the panel just left of the radio stack. I don't have room down low with all of the other switches and I don't plan to install a center console or to add a lower extension strip to the panel. I also didn't want these way off to the right even though I have plenty of panel space on the passengers side. I think these will work out well where I have them. It was definitely a pain cutting the rectangular holes. Once everything was deburred I used the holes in the bezel's to drill the panel for the screws.I also decided where I wanted the ignition switch. I think the best spot is where many others have put this - way off to the left and located between the two rows of instrument cutouts. After unibit'ing a 7/8" hole for the switch I deburred and polished the edges.
