Brief Description:  Drill VA-161 Gascolator Bracket to Firewall; Dimpl

The next thing I did was cleco the flange of the VA-161 gascolator bracket to the diagonal firewall reinforcement angle. I double checked the measurements to the gascolator from the reference points listed in the plans and they were right on. I then back drilled the firewall using the prepunched holes in the VA-161 gascolator bracket. Once all of the rivet holes were drilled in the firewall and stiffener angles, the gascolator attach holes were drilled to #12 and the fuel line hole was enlarge to 5/8" using a unibit.Once all of drilling was done I removed the bracket, deburred the firewall and stiffener angles, and then dimpled the firewall using the pop rivet dimple dies. The rivets through the firewall and stiffener angles had to be countersunk.
