Brief Description: Replace Round Flap Pushrods with Hex Pushrods
A long time ago I purchased a couple of hex pushrods for the flaps either from Van's or Avery's that are stronger than the aluminum tube pushrods that originally came with the kit. Now that the ailerons are installed and rigged I decided to move on to the flaps. My first task was to cut the hex pushrods to the same length as the original tubular pushrods. I deburred each end and then screwed them onto the rod end bearings.
Right flap pushrod - hex version trimmed, deburred, and installed to replace tube version
Left flap pushrod - hex version trimmed, deburred, and installed to replace tube version
