I clecoed the reinforcement rings back onto my work board and then countersunk all the rivet holes. The microstop countersink became blistering hot with the pilot of the bit spinning against the wood for all the holes.
Once all of the countersinking was done I cleaned the reinforcement rings and the top skin with acetone and then used the alodine pen to protect the overlapping areas from corrosion.
