I have been very nervous about making the big cut. As it turned out, it really wasn't that difficult. While the basement was heating up I added a bunch of duct tape to hold the two halves together and I made sure the clamps on the sawhorses were right up against the plexiglass to prevent the sides from bulging out. I then fired up the compressor and let the cutoff wheel do its thing. I left a couple of tabs along the cut to hold things together until I could bring some help into the sauna.
