Brief Description: Main Wheel Tire Air Access Doors
I fabricated the Main Wheel Pant Air Access Doors and backer Plates in much the same manner as the Nose Wheel Pants. The shape of the backer plates is different to correspond to the Wheel Pant mounting brackets. Bending the .065 aluminum plates was more difficult and time consuming than the Nose Wheel Pant, but they both turned out very nicely. The 1st pic shows one of the backer plates ready to cut the center opening. The next pic shows the finished backer plate. The last pic shows what the completed access door looks like.
