Brief Description: Bottom Cowl Aft Support Brackets Installation
It took three hours to get three AN3 Bolts with washers and metal stop nuts to install the bottom cowl aft support bracket. You can’t really tell in the pictures, but there is very little room to get your fingers into the gear mount flange and the little ¼” bend in the support bracket. I had to superglue a washer to each nut and clamped the support with a wood clamp to hold it in place while trying to get the nut started. I’m still glad I fabricated the bracket like I did but it’s been a challenge getting it installed. The good news is I’ll be able to leave it in place and shouldn’t have to reinstall it.
