The “Pink” Cowls were not manufactured very well. In several places, especially where the top and bottom cowls mate in the front, there are gaps and incongruities that are up to ¼” off their alignments. It’s nothing a bunch of fiberglass won’t fix, but it’s extremely time consuming. In the pictures below, I show some of these fiberglass repairs. Additionally, I had to fill several holes I drilled to mount the intake ramps.
