It took a couple more hours to sand the honeycomb core materials out of the cowl and another hour to flox the tapered edges. These pictures show the sanding process and the floxed tapered edges of the honeycomb core. After the fiberglass flox resin cures (a couple days) I’ll sand and apply 5 layers of fiberglass cloth to the areas where I removed the honeycomb core.
