Brief Description: Install & Seal Baffles, Glass in Ramps
Today I riveted the front baffles onto their angle brackets. Next, I caulked all the baffles with high temperature RTV. Finally, I sanded the intake ramps and added a 2nd coat of fiberglass epoxy with both flox and microbeads. Since I share the hangar with 3 other pilots, we have agreed to turn the heat down to 40F every night, I will leave the fiberglass epoxy alone to cure for 3 or 4 days. Next week, I will re-sand with 80-grit sandpaper, then 120 grit to make the intake ramps smooth.
