Brief Description: Fabricate/Trim the Front Engine Baffles
It is finally time to fabricate and trim the front engine baffles. As with the other baffles, I had to set the top cowling in-place, make a “tracing-line” with a wide marker, cut the baffle to the bottom of the tracing line, and repeat. These three pictures show this process. The disparity lies in the fact that in some places, the baffle had to be cut up to 3 inches in some areas and less than ½ inch in others. It took 26 reiterations of setting the cowling in-place, marking and cutting to finally get to the final cut lines (see pics next post).
