Brief Description:  Install Engine EGT & CHT Sensors (Cont.)

The right side of the engine EGT and CHT sensor wiring is a little more complicated because you add in a and Oil Cooler, and a cable for the Alternate Engine Air (which I’ll show both installs at a later date). In the 1st picture I’ll show the EGT and CHT Sensors installed. You can’t see the CHT sensor on the #4 cylinder, very well, but I had about 1 inch clearance between the Red Fuel Flow Sender/Sensor and the engine block to get the CHT Sensor installed. Needless to say, this took 4+ hours to get in, and tightened. Thankfully, I DID NOT cross-thread this one like I did on the other side! It took considerably more time to figure out the routing of the wires and connections to the engine block, the Grand Rapids EIS and the LASAR System. Additionally, I had to calculate how to route around the Oil Cooler without getting too close, and, how to secure all the wires. All-in-all, it looks pretty good. Over the next couple days I’ll install the Oil Cooler and the Alternate Air Cable.
