Brief Description:  Adding Spark Plug Wire Mounts and Ties

VAN’s cut a strangely located hole on both aft-side baffles. I found one set of plans that had a picture of a screw going through two Tinneman washers, an additional regular washer, and a metal safety nut. I finally realized this was meant to be a mounting screw to attach an Adele Clamp for the spark plug wires. After seeing what VAN’s recommended, I made my own patch for the hole and attached the Adel Clamp. This is much cleaner than what VAN’s did and will function better without having to add filler to the hole after the Tinneman washers were installed. When I routed the spark plug wires on the right (passenger) side of the engine I didn’t have enough wire to use this mount, so I fabricated and riveted an angle bracket with an Adele Clamp to hold the spark plug wires. I also used plastic spark plug wire tie-assemblies to support the two wires on each side of the engine.
