Brief Description: Final Snorkel Installation/Mounting
Now that the tension rods are attached on the engine, I can mount the Snorkel using pop rivets with special washers to secure the fiberglass without tearing. I had about as much fun getting the washers on the snorkel outside, rear-inboard fiberglass as when I installed the safety nuts on the inboard tension rod. I’m glad I have an 18” forceps to get the washers onto the back side of the rivets.
