With the 1/8” bracing on the front and back of the CB-705A Baffle Doubler-Plates finished, I re-designed a new CB-705B Oil Cooler Brace. It took me a couple of reiterations, but this is the version that seemed to fit the best (see 1st pic). This also makes the top baffling configuration straight so I won’t need multiple small pieces of rubber on the top to make it air-tight. Next, I bent another 1/8” x 1 aluminum flat bar and a spacer to create a reinforcing brace to tie all the aft-left baffling (as seen from the pilot’s seat) together (see pic #2). In Pic #3 I show the front piece I used to tie it all together. On the aft side of this piece is another 1/8” x 1 bent flat aluminum bar that’s all riveted to the front piece.
