Brief Description: Installing the Vetterman Crossover Exhaust (Cont.)
These are more pictures of the aft vertical and horizontal exhaust support mounts. The system utilizes a combination of slip-ball-joints to allow the exhaust pipes to move as the engine vibrates. The rear mounts are made up of two 7” hollow steel rods that are attached to the exhaust pipe with a steel clamp and to the engine block via an angled aluminum offset onto some very-hard-to-to get-to studs (that are painted and the threads are full of crap). The two tubes are connected with a rubber hose and some hose clamps. There is also the same arrangement that wraps around the nose gear socket.
