Brief Description: Fiberglass vertical stabilizer and rudder
I took 3 months off due to a back injury in I incurred in December. These are some pictures of the vertical stabilizer tips. In the previous post, I mentioned it would have been better to do all the fiberglass work if the empennage components were not attached to the fuselage. I started working on the vertical stabilizer tips using a ladder but after I injured my back, I had to bring in some construction scaffolding. Here you can see me fiberglassing the VOR antenna cut-outs and filling in the fairings. These took copious amounts of time and were very difficult to sand due to my injuries. Wish I had done this while it was all off the fuselage.
