With all internal ribs installed and sealed. The 2 end ribs were then riveted in place. These were "Wet riveted" and all rivets installed with a squeezer. Once the end ribs were installed, the vent line was fabricated and installed. The bulk head fitting was sealed with Pro-seal" and the fitting torqued to spec.
The T-708 cover plate was installed using "Pro-seal only", (no gasket) as per Van's latest instructions. The Fuel pickup tube was fabricated as per plans, and installed using the new T-715, "Anti-Rotation" bracket. Standard Stewart Warner fuel gauge senders are being used, and were adjusted per plans. Testing was performed using a digital ohm meter with reading withing specs.
Components installed and sealed with "sealant only", (No gasket) as per instructions.
