Brief Description:  Brake line installation

I only had to do this job twice, that's like a record for me! I plumbed each main wheel to opposite pedals between the pilot and copilot the first time, that would have been interesting for sure. I finally managed to correctly plumb each master cyclinder in series with the dual set on the copilot side, then down to the main gear. I ordered the called for mineral based brake fluid, who knew aircraft generally use mineral oil instead of the DOT 3 at walmart due to the much higher boiling point?? Sounds like a good idea, and its non corrosive to my tender brake seals, and is even flame resistant which I thought was a great idea since it surrounds my feet :-)

I had to cut out a portion of the triangular brace that supports my avionics shelf, then I learned from Homebuilt Tips on Youtube about a clever invention called edge grommets. It comes in a long nylon strip, you cut to fit, then slide over the edge, preventing the sharp edge from abraiding the brake lines as there is some movement at full pedal deflection. So far so good :-)
