The upper skin is not ambidextrous!! The part that covers the nose aft of the firewall cannot be installed either side up! Ask me how I know.... I had that silly piece on and off a total of FIVE times getting everything where is was supposed to me.... I tell you, I'm just a blazingly fast natural at this!!
I also set up the cabane jig and have the cockpit tubing simply put in place. I need to carefully measure and then drill and rivet. Doesn't anybody in Midland, Texas have a tape measure marked out to 728mm??
I am getting so close to making airplane noises I can feel it! I'm going to have to make a paint decision soon. I won't be able to got much further with all that needs to be installed in the cockpit if I want to have a protective coat on paint on the interior.... More research to do!
