Brief Description:  Extended Baggage tube

I've been thinking about this modification for some time. It is true that with the extended baggage option, the Savannah S has an enormous baggage compartment, I will be able to easily carry two large duffel bags, or two full size, large suticases. However, I've been thinking about the problem with long, light items such as rifles, fishing poles, or say it isn't so... even golf clubs. I realize that it would be dangerous to put any significant weight further aft due to CG concerns, but the end of a barrel or tip of a fishing pole would be insignificant.

I started by searching for an appropriate tube that would suffice but be extremely light. I finally settled on 4" aluminum dryer vent tube. This stuff is feather light! Now... how to install and support it? First I blanched at buying a $60 plus tool to make one cut, so I simply made a guide to allow my pick to score the aluminum sheet. After a few minutes of ring around the rosy, the piece fell out giving me a nice clean cut.
