Sight tube installation went pretty well. I couldn't tell from the manual, but it seemed like only one clamp was to be used for each tank fitting. This would mean that the short piece of quality, fuel injection rubber hose would be use to sip over the tank fitting and over the hard plastic sight tube line, apparently needing a clamp only on the tank fitting side?
While the hose was extremely tight over the plastic sight tube line and passed the pressure test, I just didn't know if it woul leak in time. I bought some high quality, full circle high pressure fuel injection hose clamps (not the simple worm style) and clamped the hose over the hard plastic line as well. Overkill? Maybe, but who wants a fuel leak or even fumes in the wing root after its all closed up!
