Well... for the first time I cannot find a part! I can't seem to find an interal aileron hing so I am unable to complete the left inner flaperon. I'm going to dig through everything one more time, then see how ICP can help, I'll let you know...
I am so glad I visited and photographed a factory Savannah for reference. The manual mentions installing the plastic tip in the ends of the outer flaperons, but I could not find any place in the manual that describes how! I referenced my pics and realized that the last inch or so of the trailing edge of the cap must be trimmed in about 3/8" in order to be able to slip inside the flaperon to be riveted in place. Oh well, if I run into another snag, I guess I'll just have to go fly again! :-) Actually, looking at the pics of other Savannah builders on this site has also been extremely helpful in filling in the gaps in the manual. In spite of the manual challenges, I am still really enjoying the process, its a beautifully well made kit.
