I don't know why, but I'm as excited about this part as I was when I first opened the crate! There is just something about building the wing that really gets the aviation juices flowing... I gathered up all the parts and temporarily clecoed the basic frame together to make sure I understood how things would go. Now I need to take it apart, apply the anti-corrosion paint and rivet it up. This is the largest and most complex structure yet. After the ribs are all in place, I'll have the flaperon hinge points to install, then the job of installing the fuel tanks and all the associated plumbing. Skins will be next, then the BIG leading edge install, the first one that is not pre-bent! Then inspection hatches, covers, strobes, etc.
