Pulled first rib from the jig . My first impression was that it would be difficut to remove from the jig - not so - some carefull but easy tugging and slid right out. Plastic wrap works like a charm .
Decided to verify, measure , measure again all points for accuracy - 1st rib is a keeper ! All upper and lower coordinates are nearly dead on target , length accurate, spar spacing and wing cord plane @90* and with in 1/64th .
I made 2 glue test blocks . My Son has some serious doubts about glueing an airplane together and expecting it fly people. So I grave him the glue test blocks and asked him to destuctive test the glue joint . He put it in his hands -strained grunted and then looked bewildered . All I said then was "VICE" , and he nod "UM YEA". Next thing I know he has a hammer ! Needless to say it passed both peel and shear .
