The baggage "Convience Lights" arrived last night so it was time to mount them on the aft edge of the F-705 bulkhead (the bulkhead that holds the seatbacks).
I made some brackets out of 0.040 AL sheet which required the bandsaw and the drill press. The brackets are only 2 1/2" x 2" and require two holes drilled that match the already drilled bulkhead holes (there from a previous screwup) and one that goes over the protruding rivet head. Of course there are three holes drilled to attach the light and run the wires through. The lights attach with two #6 screws with lock washers and nuts. The bracket is attached to the bulkhead with two #8 srews, washers, and nylock nuts. They were primed and painted a silver color.
