Brief Description:  Contiuing snorkle madness.

After a few days of measuring angles and dimensions, I started cutting off the snorkle. This was preceeded by the cutting of the snorkle attachment face for the injection servo. I attached the snorkle to the servo to get the dimesions at the inlet end that were needed for fitting the snorkle flanges to the bottom of the inlet ramp. Unfortunately, I had incorrectly fabbed the inlet ramp bracket that attaches to the block, at too great an angle down. This caused me to cut off too much of the snorkle before I realized my mistake. I thought of ordering and new snorkle until I saw the price of over $300 on Vans website.

I, therefore, decided to make longer and stronger flanges that attach the snorkle to the bottom of the inlet ramp. This fixes the mistake of cutting off too much of the snorkle. I also used my heat gun to indent the snorkle to allow clearance from the alternator bracket.
